Do you have what it takes?
I read Twilight.

Why? Let's break it down.
Morbid curiosity: 28%
Wanting to understand complaints about the movie and/or casting: 2%
Self-loathing: 20%
Wanting to be able to use this icon: 30%
Not wanting to do my final papers: 30%

Yes, I gave this book 110%

Because it's worth it.

In fact that is lies. I gave it about 30%, and that was more than it deserved.

High, but not nearly as high as I was hoping.

I've read bits of it from reviews and it is terrible.

I have read all three and they are so angry-making. (However, as I said, I have read all three.)

The movie has this girl playing Bella that I love who was so fantastic in Speak, so hopefully she at least won't suck.

That reminds me of when they made the DaVinci Code movie. And I kept hoping they would take the good potential bits and drain out the suck. Instead they did the reverse.

Yeah, with the DaVinci Code I was ever so slightly hopeful because the story itself is exciting and the writing was, for me, the worst part. Both the story and writing of Twilight are pretty bad, but I've seen Kristen Stewart in a couple of things now and she is a legitimately good actress so I'm hoping she at least will be okay. (Although Bella is kind of crap as a character so everything may just be down the toilet.)
